Reforestation

As students and teachers of Levent Schools, we have embarked on a meaningful endeavour called the Reforestation Area project, aimed at creating a greener world for generations to come. Recognizing the increasing urgency of addressing global climate change, we believe it is crucial for individuals and institutions to take responsibility and actively contribute.

In this period where the fight against global climate change is increasingly important, we are aware of the responsibility that individuals and institutions must bear. Based on the principle of respect for nature that we have emphasized for years, we aim to raise conscious individuals. In this regard, thanks to the cooperation with the Northern Cyprus Forestry Department, we had the opportunity to plant thousands of saplings with the participation of our students and teachers.

We wanted to breathe life into the future by planting more trees in place of the trees we lost in the fires that have occurred in the Mediterranean region in recent years. Therefore, a sapling was planted on behalf of every student and teacher studying at our school. We established the Levent Schools Reforestation Area by planting saplings for new students and teachers who will join our school in the future.

By undertaking this endeavor, we aspire to leave a lasting legacy of environmental stewardship. The Reforestation Area stands as a testament to our dedication in preserving nature, reinvigorating the land, and ensuring a sustainable future. Together, we strive to instill a sense of responsibility and appreciation for the environment in our students, fostering a deep connection to the natural world and inspiring them to become agents of positive change.
