Our Guiding Principles

Levent College's guiding principles are centered around nurturing students who possess a universal worldview. Our fundamental principle is to educate students as individuals who respect existence, engage in democratic participation, and have a high level of technological proficiency.

Respect for Existence

We aim for students to have self-respect and to exhibit exemplary attitudes towards nature, humanity, science, and art.

Democratic Participation

Democratic participation begins within our school community. Each student has a voice and the right to express themselves in their classrooms and in all areas of the school. Through the school council, which is formed either through individual representation, students can make requests, present suggestions, offer critiques and provide guidance. We strive for our students to become democratic participants who possess the knowledge and skills to advocate for their personal and societal rights anywhere in the world. We encourage them to engage in critical thinking and discussions to seek improvement and to think creatively to find new ways.

Technological Proficiency

We believe that emphasizing the importance of technology contributes to the development of well-rounded students. We guide our students to derive maximum benefits from technology. We teach them that conscious and informed use of technology is the key to accessing universal knowledge quickly and accurately. By integrating technology across all areas of education, we work to enhance our students' technological proficiency.

By adhering to these guiding principles, Levent College aims to shape students who are well-rounded, respectful of existence, active democratic participants, and proficient in technology.
