Vision and Goals
Vision and GoalsHistory of Revolution and Kemalism is a course within the Turkish Department that aims to uphold and transfer Atatürk's principles and revolutions to future generations.
The course discusses the struggle for existence of the Turkish nation and the unprecedented heroism displayed in the War of Independence and the subsequent establishment and preservation of the Turkish Republic. It also highlights the reasons behind Mustafa Kemal's military genius and his status as a hero and leader recognized by all nations of the world.
Levent College, through the History of Revolution and Kemalism course, instills a sense of struggle and consciousness in young Turkish Cypriots living in North Cyprus by following the example of the Turkish nation. The Atatürk principles and revolutions are being upheld in Cyprus thanks to the Atatürkists who maintain the bond between Cyprus and Turkey. The Turkish Cypriot people follow in the footsteps of Atatürk and will continue to do so.

We aim to cultivate individuals who can speak, debate and think critically about all kinds of issues. We aim to produce individuals who question the past, research, learn, and have foresight about future events. We aim to cultivate individuals who take pride in being Turkish and who uphold Turkish culture and values.
The History of Revolution and Kemalism course is critical to understanding the founding and development of the Turkish Republic. It provides students with information about Atatürk's revolutions, reforms, and significant events in Turkish history while aiding in their understanding of his principles and ideas.
The course's purpose is to teach students important events in Turkish history, their reflections in contemporary times, help them understand Atatürk's ideas and facilitate their understanding of the founding and development of the Turkish Republic. It also aims to highlight the importance of national unity and patriotism.
